Pop-Up Exhibition Linking Maker & Market

At Heimtextil, Maison & Objet and Ambiente

Highlighting a curated selection of the best craft and design products from global makers, this innovative exhibition will pop-up at leading trade fairs this season. These products come from exporters participating in CBI's Export Coaching Programmes from 9 different countries: Indonesia, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar and South Africa.

The product selection includes home accessories such as alabaster candle holders and palm leaf baskets, small furniture such as a table with a handmade wooden inlay as well as a coffee table with CNC cut designs. Ranges of home textiles include mohair, cashmere, rafia and organic cotton, as well as recycled maize bags. All handmade and ready to be ordered from experienced exporters. In a simple way, this pop-up exhibition shows what CBI does – linking suppliers from emerging economies and importers from the EU.

On behalf of CBI, and in collaboration with colleague Mark Kwami, Craftscurator has created the concept for this exhibition and has curated the product selection.
