Hand Made

Craftscurator is online!

Oct 24, 2011 by Irene Vermeulen

I am so happy Craftscurator is now online, and I will be able to share my love for global crafts and handmade design with you! On this brand new website, I will tell stories of my worldwide trips and my experience in working with people making, designing and selling handmade products. And I will share my insights on developments in the European market, and what I believe makes people to want, love and need products.

These carefully curated trends, and much more, I will be publishing early 2012 in the Craftscurator Trend Guide for 2013. You can pre-order a guide now, for an early bird price. To get the trends first hand, come to the Trend Event 2013 on February 2 in Amsterdam, where I will give a lively and inspiring presentation.

A human touch is why people fall for handmade products, I believe. The connection between the maker and the consumer is what fascinates me. Visualizing those connections, person to person, hand to hand, is what I do using social networks online and meaningful get-togethers offline. So please reach out and touch, give feedback, and like, share and connect. And let's shake hands soon!

I hope you enjoy exploring Craftscurator.com. Please subscribe to our newsletter keep updated.

A big thank you to master craftsmen Rowan and Wiebe, and maestra Anna for their work on designing, building, guiding and tweaking this website.
